A combination of the Solar Giraffe with a MINITECA!

This project allows charging of cell phones, offers access to books, radio, and provides public lighting.

Solar energy is captured by panels installed in a structure that resembles a giraffe, hence the name of the project.

To amplify the educational impact in these communities, we added a MINITECA, a mini-library made from a recycled fridge, along with a fixed solar tablet loaded with audiobooks, educational materials and games.

The GIRAFATECA creates a sustainable educational space, where children and locals can read, study, play and engage in various cultural activities, all in a safe and inclusive environment.
